63.62, -19.613333: By "mag-lev based", do you mean that it was entirely powered by magnetic levitation, or that it revolved around magnetic levitation? The difference being that it would have assisting technology to keep flight stable

Definitely! Probably through a method different than what you're familiar with, but this'll be a lot easier to get into the air than Mr. W was!

Whoa, like for planes? You think that'd work?

A catapult? It'd work for the launch, sure...even if it's portable though, a system like that would still be really cumbersome. Maybe we could build it into the suit itself?

Not like planes, exactly, uhm. . . Maybe it'd work better if the feet were able to spring—oh!

—oh! Since Hurricane's planet is capable of having its gravity be stabilized against, it might be a property of "Earth". It'd definitely be impossible on Terra, since the Catastrophes disrupt the magnetic fields too frequently for that to be a reliable method of flying, but maybe it's different here.

[Fiddling with some latches to pop some plating on the armor, letting them get a look at the inner workings along with the control area]

Dear Felicity,

I hope this letter finds you well. I recently was a guest star on a show. I have to admit, I'm sad I wasn't an extra for yours. It would have been nice to see you. I did get to go bird watching though, so at least it was kind of enjoyable otherwise.

I hope the treatment for your Oripathy is going well. I found some interesting dark blue rocks while bird watching and I thought you might like them. I think they're small enough to make it through the mail. If not, I have more in my room.

I did remember something interesting recently. It might be you're not my first ever friend. Though I'm not sure if they're still my friends. I'm apparently really not great at understanding the priorities of others. It was definitely recent either way. They're on the Flyer Derby team. They're talented witches, though I can't remember much about them. Just the feeling I had about them. I trusted them. I wanted to be around them. They gave me that warm, fuzzy feeling you give me.

I recruited them for the Emperor's Coven. They weren't so happy about that. But everyone has to join a coven and the Emperor's Coven is the best. I don't know why they were upset.

[There are a lot of scratched out words.]

I don't know why and that bothers me. I didn't want them to be upset. I didn't want them to be scared, but they were. Of the coven. Of me. But I was so sure at the time it was the right call. I grew up in the coven. And I know my uncle. He just wants best for everyone, even if its hard to do.

But I keep thinking how scared they were. What did they see that I can't see?

And if they saw something, does that mean I'm wrong about something?

And if I am wrong, is there anything I can do to apologize to them?

I don't expect you to have the answers, but the thoughts have been running circles in my head and you're honestly the only person I trust enough to say anything. These aren't easy thoughts to have. I don't like what they mean.

But its easier to think what I don't like if its you listening. Or reading. If you can read this. I'm pressing really deep in the paper, so I hope you can. I actually found this book! There's this language called braille for those without sight and I'm going to try making a copy of this letter with that. Though I don't know if you know that language, but I figure it can't hurt, right?

Actually, in case you can read this or get this read, I think I'll include the alphabet. Let me know if that's crossing a boundary, I just want to keep being able to communicate with you. Options can't hurt, right?

Oh, I'm also going to include a sketch. His name is Flapjack. He's my palismen. I'm still not sure what a flapjack is, but he's really nice and he helps me do magic.
